I am my hair

I decided to colour my hair myself again, which I find very annoying, mostly because I make a mess of myself as well as my bathroom. This time I decided to try out a new colouring product called "John Frieda Precision Foam Colour".

It was more expensive than the other brands: $20 as opposed to the $10-$15 that the competitive brands currently out on the market. I thought *this is most likely going to be as crap as the other home hair colour products that I have tried in the past*. Trust me, I have tried them all! All other brands that I have tried have burnt my scalp as well as dried my hair out completely during the colouring process and then rising it out. So when it came to trying out yet again another hair colouring brand, I thought whats the worst that the John Frieda colour could do? Then thought, Pfft whatever....

So I tried it out two days ago. The foam was easy to apply, and felt like it was conditioning my hair as I massaged and then left it in to develop. After around 20 mins I felt a slight tingling on my scalp. That was the worst of it. I always dread washing out colour, thats the true test of a great colour. If the colour really dries out my hair then I tend not to use it again. So I washed out this colour and my hair felt silky and conditioned. I completely rinsed it the colour out then massaged the conditioner that came with the pack in. The conditioner was so creamy and thick. It was brilliant. I dried my hair and my hair felt like I had left in a conditioning treatment in for 2 hours. Man I LOVE this product!!

I highly recommend this colour if you are deciding on one shade. You will get professional salon results with this product. The colour I used was natural black.

Baking is fun yay!

For my first post I have decided to start off by sharing my love of baking.

I have been playing around with gluten free, diary free ingredients and have changed up and tweaked a few traditional recipes. I have also developed some of my own. A few have turned it better than I expected and others flopped.

Here is a pic of the latest recipe I have tried, one of the Babycakes NYC vegan blueberry muffin recipe I found on the Internet's.

I will share more every week!
